I am Sofia Marie Casas, a witness of abusing or some other forms of domestic violence. Tom's mother found another one when his father died. Tom met his step-father when he was 10. After his step-father came into their lives, things changed. At times, he could be okay, take them out as a family, but at other times he'd get into these nasty moods. His most vivid childhood memories was when his step-father screaming at him, calling him names and putting him down. He can do nothing but to cry. I also witness when his step-father would get angry with Tom, he would yell and call him bad words, and punch him, purposely being hurtful. He used to hurt Tom, kicked him and threw hard things on his face when he is mad. Tom could never relax at home. One night, when Tom got home late and his little brother was crying, his step-father was screaming at her mother, and Tom saw his mother with a cut on her arm. He was really evil!
